It is created from the difference or temperature between sea and land and starts , which is called thermal wind, blowing approximately 15.00 until 19.00-20.00, it is super stable and safe to progress in Kitesurfing.
THE SPOT
Oropos beach is wide and long with wind direction – SIDE ON SHORE – blowing parallel and a little bit towards the beach.
This creates ideal conditions for kitesurf sessions as the rider has more space to practice standing up on the board and covering more distance on the board.
