Description

Learn Kiteboard  fundamentals, learn safety and fly a kite for the first time!

This kiteboard guided Lesson has a duration of around 2 hours.

  • Assess the wind and Location (hazards – safety conditions)
  • Getting to know the parts of a kite, set up and safety systems. Control the kite.
  • Know the communication signals.
  • Land and launch the kite. Pilot the kite.
  • Self Land.

* All Equipment provided – life vest, helmet, kite, board, bar, wetsuit

I took a few lessons with Tasos from Kitemonkey around Athens. He knows all the spots and the conditions they require. I really made progress with my kite-surfing with Tasos. He is a genuinely nice person and honestly interested in his student's kite experience. hopefully i can go in the water with him again. Full recomdation!

Tasos aka "the Monkey" is an awesome dude that will make the learning experience of kitesurf a safe, personalized and enjoyable activity! Best tip, hang around afterwards for a beer with him and his lovely dog Zen!

Tasos has helped me get started with kitesurfing in Mikri Vigla, Naxos. He is very friendly, and patient and has all necessary equipment. In the 3 hours we spent together he took me from zero to body dragging with safety and I even had some fun. We will pickup where we left off at the end of the summer to finish my training back in Athens.
